Ninety-three-year-aged Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist and Village Voice veteran Jules Feiffer and his spouse, JZ Holden, are listing their Shelter Island residence for $1.2 million.
Feiffer — who is also the illustrator of Gimme’s preferred childhood e book, “The Phantom Tollbooth” — moved to Shelter Island full time in 2017.
The charming, shingle-style regular home at 5 Emerson Lane, developed in 2016, sits on just above fifty percent an acre.
It capabilities three bedrooms, two baths, wooden floors, a fireplace and serene sights, as it borders 45 acres of preserved land.
There is also a h2o-filtration procedure, a patio, and room for a pool.
Feiffer has created a lot more than 35 books, performs and screenplays, including the Academy Award-profitable animated brief movie, “Munro,” “Carnal Knowledge” and “Popeye.”
He is also in the Comedian Guide Hall of Fame.
The listing broker is Douglas Elliman’s Dawn Watson.
