For the very first time considering the fact that a viral movie showed Mike Tyson throwing punches at an overzealous fan on a JetBlue flight final month, the former heavyweight winner spoke publicly about the incident.
On an April 20 flight, Melvin Townsend III and Tyson received into it, as TMZ online video showed, with Townsend allegedly throwing a h2o bottle at Tyson. Charges were being not filed by the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Business.
“They said they ain’t gonna pick up rates,” Tyson claimed on the most new episode of his “Hotboxin'” podcast. “He was f–king with me, man. I should not even be getting general public planes. My wife receives mad I just take community planes.”
Tyson, 55, explained he took images with Townsend prior to the incident. He did not seem like he needed to be traveling with security or close friends to watch his back again.
“A bodyguard and a f–king indeed man. What am I gonna do on a airplane?” Tyson said.
