Organizers of the Kwara Inter-Secondary Colleges Volleyball Championship have unveiled the record of participating faculties for the maiden grassroots volleyball championship, which officially started yesterday.
Collaborating in the event, which is held at the indoor sports hall of Kwara Condition Stadium, are Federal government Working day Secondary College (GDSS), Adeta Authorities Day Secondary Faculty (GDSS), Ogidi Ansarul Islam Higher education, Ogidi Govt Large Faculty Adeta Apata Ajele Secondary University, Asa Erinle Secondary Faculty Mandate Secondary School and Unilorin Secondary School.
Unveiling the timetable for the opposition, yesterday, a member of the organising committee, Dare Kuti, acknowledged all people, who partnered for the good results of the level of competition, declaring with no their assistance, the programme would not have been feasible.
“I want to take pleasure in all who produced this programme attainable due to the fact without this partnership, I do not feel this levels of competition would have taken off.
“Organising any sporting event, specially one particular that is not football, can be tricky, but we are happy that this is finally going on irrespective of various obstacles we faced,” he reported.
He commended stakeholders, like the Kwara Sports Fee, the Kwara Volleyball Association and the Kwara Condition Volleyball referees and the media for their contributions to the match.
The opposition, which commenced yesterday, will end tomorrow with the winners obtaining different prizes.
