Jim Seals, half of 'Summer Dreams' duo Seals and Crofts, dead at 80

Jim Seals of the legendary 1970s singing duo Seals & Crofts died on Monday. He was 80.

No cause of dying was unveiled. The passing of Seals, who fashioned the musical pair with Darrel “Dash” Crofts in 1969, was verified by a number of pals and relations on the web, including his musician cousin, Brady Seals.
