ESPN's Jeff Van Gundy, Woj out for NBA Finals Game 1 due to COVID

ESPN guide NBA activity analyst Jeff Van Gundy and insider Adrian Wojnarowski are each out for Game 1 of the NBA Finals thanks to COVID, The Post has acquired.

The duo joins Mike Breen on the COVID list. As of Thursday morning, Breen’s availability for Recreation 1 was continue to undecided. Though he felt far better Breen nonetheless wanted to pass all of the NBA and Disney protocols. If Breen is not cleared for Activity 1, then Mark Jones was slated to phone it, as he did in replacing Breen on Video game 7 of the Japanese Convention Finals.

Reached for comment, ESPN verified that Van Gundy and Wojnarowski are out and that it is nonetheless ready for clearance on Breen’s status.

Throughout that Recreation 7, Van Gundy sounded noticeably hoarse, leading to issue that he, too, may perhaps be unwell.
