Erika Jayne is surrounded by Toms, but none are more supportive of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star these times than her 1st husband, Thomas Zizzo, and their son, Tommy Zizzo.
When asked regardless of whether she is close with her only child’s father, Jayne, 50, excitedly replied in an interview with Bravo’s “The Day-to-day Dish” Tuesday, “Yes, really, I am!”
The truth star shared that Thomas has been “very supportive, actually, during the full process” of her ongoing authorized and monetary woes with her estranged partner, Tom Girardi.
“And my mom is shut to him and his mom,” she defined. “People really do not fully grasp this, but we’re truly pretty restricted. They have been very supportive of me, and I’m extremely grateful.”
Jayne extra that her superior-profile troubles have strengthened her connection with her son, as well.
“My son’s been wonderful,” she stated of Tommy, a Los Angeles Law enforcement Department officer who has often favored to stay out of the limelight.
“And I will say this — the silver lining to all of this s–t is that our romance is more robust,” Jayne claimed. “My son and I, we have really appear jointly. … He’ll be 30 in June. Jesus. I just keep in mind going for walks about below in New York becoming expecting with him, but he’ll be 30. And so asking him what he thinks about items, you know, you get this grownup point of view, and it’s actually good.”
Although the “Xxpen$ive” singer has reported in the past that Tommy does not keep up with her on-display drama, there was a person headline pertaining to her love lifestyle that caught his focus.
“Oh my God, I’ll never ever forget,” Jayne recalled. “One time, he named me, he’s like, ‘Hey, are you courting this guy?’ I was like, ‘No, what the f–k are you carrying out? I’m not courting him.’ He was like, ‘OK, nicely, you know, I noticed it somewhere.’ I was like, ‘Call me, please, just before you, you know …'”
Erika and Thomas satisfied when she was a 19-12 months-previous go-go dancer in New Jersey and he was a 26-year-previous DJ at a Manhattan hotspot.
“He was a tall, muscular Sicilian with the kind of streetwise swagger that only native New Yorkers can muster,” she wrote in her 2018 memoir, “Pretty Mess.” “He was an complete piece.”
The two moved in together soon after 6 months of courting, and she became pregnant with Tommy soon thereafter.
With a little one on the way, Erika and Thomas made a decision to get married in December 1991. Tommy was born in June 1992. By 1996, Erika and Thomas ended up divorced, and she set up shop in Los Angeles to chase her dreams.
“I truly feel like my marriage came aside because of me, not for the reason that of anybody else. I can consider duty,” she wrote in her ebook.
“I realized I was a superior mother. I believed I was grownup plenty of to be a wife and a mother, but definitely I wasn’t. Tommy bore the brunt of that. It was this continual pressure and it was hard for the two of us to just take. We broke up when my son was a little more than 18 months old. I arrived out of a divorced house. I did what I knew, which was to just take my son and go away.”
In January 2000, Jayne married Girardi, who is now 83 and living in a senior house following his late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia diagnoses.
The pair invested two many years reaping the rewards of the attorney’s successful regulation firm, the now-defunct Girardi Keese. But soon after she submitted for divorce in November 2020, Girardi was accused of stealing thousands and thousands of dollars from the settlement funds of Girardi’s susceptible purchasers to help her lavish life style.
The Bravo character maintains she had no understanding of Girardi’s alleged crimes and denies any wrongdoing.
