Umpire Ron Kulpa hit in mask, leaves White Sox-Red Sox game

BOSTON — Dwelling plate umpire Ron Kulpa experienced to go away Sunday’s White Sox-Purple Sox game at Fenway Park in the fourth inning after getting a foul ball off the mask.

Kupla bought hit sq. in the mask by a foul ball off the bat of Chicago’s Jake Burger and dropped straight to the ground. Trainers from both teams rushed out, Red Sox catcher Christian Vázquez turned to assist and the relaxation of the umpiring crew arrived to the plate.

Just after sitting down for a bit, Kupla stood up, chatted with Boston’s trainer briefly, and walked off on his personal. He was replaced driving the plate by initial-foundation umpire Marty Foster immediately after a 20-moment delay and the sport resumed with a three-guy crew.

Chicago won the recreation, 3-2.
