NPR’s strict masking policy encourages coworkers to tattle on violators

NPR did not return requests for feedback on its mandate or memo.

In the memo, the corporation said reminding staff to put on a mask is “actually helping” them because they are not “intentionally striving to evade the principles.” The weird missive advocates for staff to say “thank you” for the reminder if they are violating the rule.
