Max Scherzer prevents ambassador from throwing first pitch

It began out as a joke, that was just Mad Max becoming himself, so focused he did not know what was likely on.

But it may perhaps be considerably far more than that.

Max Scherzer didn’t just destroy a fan throwing out the ceremonial to start with pitch Friday night time, he obtained in the way of Mikio Mori, Ambassador and Consul Common of Japan, performing the honors. Mori was in the town for the first Japan parade in honor of Japan Day on Saturday.

He wasn’t just slated to throw out the initial pitch right before the Mets-Mariners match. It was also Japanese Heritage Evening on the 150th anniversary of the United States’ introduction of baseball to Japan.

Clearly, this was not all Scherzer’s fault. The planning was very poor. Possibly the Mets’ 2-1 reduction was karma catching up with them.
