“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss was not joyful Andy Cohen publicly questioned her daughter about her marriage with her estranged father on “Watch What Transpires Live” on Sunday.
“I didn’t say just about anything to him about it, but I did not definitely like when he introduced up my daughter’s father to her on camera on ‘Live,'” Kandi claimed Friday on “The Slut Pig Podcast” in reaction to the final time she was “upset” with her Bravo manager.
The Grammy winner described emotion doubly let down by the inquiry for the reason that 19-year-old Riley experienced filled in as the bartender on Cohen’s clearly show as a favor.
“She just so took place to be the bartender,” Kandi described. “There was any individual else that was supposed to be the bartender, but they have been late. [Riley] was there, so they have been like, ‘Oh, you wanna be the bartender?’
“It wasn’t like she was prepped or anything at all, so it sort of caught her off guard,” the Xscape singer ongoing, including that Riley’s partnership with her father, music producer Russell “Block” Spencer, is a “sensitive topic.”
It was midway via the “WWHL” episode when Cohen, 53, questioned his substitute bartender, “Has your marriage with your father enhanced at all?”
Riley replied, “I really don't remember the final time I spoke to him, so that responses that query.”
Kandi claimed on the podcast she felt her daughter “handled” the circumstance.
Ahead of leaving Georgia to commence school in the Significant Apple, Riley spoke to her mom about the boy or girl support she felt her father owed her.
“OK, effectively, I come to feel like my father never actually did just about anything. It is time for him to at least deliver some thing when I’m likely away to higher education,” she stated in the December 2020 premiere of Time 13.
Kandi then introduced at the April 2021 reunion that she experienced won her case with Spencer, outlining, “They mainly say he got to spend his back again kid assistance, so they are offering him some time to give a lump sum now, and then he has to get started paying the monthly back.”
