Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon is urging politicians to “come together to enact policy initiatives to make our communities safer” from gun violence.
Solomon spoke out on Thursday — just two days immediately after an 18-year-old gunman killed 19 students and two lecturers during a shooting rampage at Robb Elementary University in Uvalde, Texas. Seventeen some others were being wounded in the assault.
Last week, a Goldman Sachs personnel, David Enriquez, was fatally shot at random when driving the New York City subway.
“All of us at Goldman Sachs specific our deepest sorrow above the new tragic and senseless functions of violence in The united states, which have resulted in the deaths of pals, neighbors, co-employees, small children, and other beloved types,” Solomon explained to CNN on Thursday.
