Disgraced previous NBC anchor Matt Lauer, 64, has eventually located a customer his Hamptons mansion, The Publish has learned exclusively, as the distribute has entered contract.
The deal selling price, even so, is not however readily available.
The former “Today” host — who was fired from NBC nearly 5 decades in the past after dealing with allegations of sexual misconduct — acquired the household on Actors Colony Road in North Haven, NY, from actor Richard Gere for $36.5 million in 2016. (Gere had initially outlined the estate for $65 million in 2013.)
Lauer to start with shown the residence for $44.8 million in 2019, the calendar year he finalized his divorce from Annette Roque, 55. It spent time on and off the industry, and he most not too long ago introduced it back for sale in 2021 for $43.99 million.
The estate consists of a principal house, acknowledged as Strongheart Manor, designed in 1902 that has been renovated and is now electricity-economical and geothermal, as very well as a guest house — for a total of 12 bedrooms and 12 loos. There’s also a pond with a bridge and a tea household.



The major home attributes a wraparound screened porch, a significant kitchen, official residing and dining rooms and several fireplaces. There’s also a 60-foot heated gunite pool with drinking water views, landscaped gardens, specimen trees, a health club and a basketball court.
The gated estate sits on 6.3 acres and boasts views of the Peconic waterways and Mashomack Maintain, with 300 toes of immediate bay frontage, a 240-foot-long non-public deepwater dock and a sandy beach front. Neighbors consist of the singer Jimmy Buffett.
The sale does not indicate Lauer is leaving the Hamptons. He however owns a 25-acre estate nearby in Sag Harbor. Roque will also continue to keep Dazzling Aspect Farm, which the former pair purchased for $3.5 million in 2012.
Listing broker Susan Breitenbach, of Corcoran, was not out there for remark.
