Speculation is mounting that Chris Rock will be named the host of next year’s Oscars — immediately after remaining spectacularly smacked down at this year’s ceremony by Finest Actor winner Smith.
ABC’s President of Leisure Craig Erich explained to Deadline on Tuesday that he is open to possessing Rock, 57, helm the future awards show. Erich also claimed next year’s clearly show, which will be held in March, will be “even superior.”
