“So we had someone from the PGA come carry an more essential, unlock the motor vehicle,” Koepka mentioned in an Instagram Story. “We’re on our way there now, late, but we’re coming.”

Koepka later tackled the incident to reporters and poked fun at himself in the course of action.

“Only me, guy,” Koepka explained. “It’s like a theme of auto troubles. Run out of gasoline [at home recently] and then this. I’m just happy it did not transpire on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.”

Koepka’s fiancée, Jena Sims, also trolled the golfer on social media for the mishap, quipping, “At minimum there was gasoline in it…. As well before long???”

This year’s PGA Championship will get underway Thursday at the Southern Hills Championship Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Koepka teeing off shortly following 2 p.m.

Past golfing, Koepka has a active summertime forward of him as he and Sims, 33, are slated to tie the knot in the close to long run.
