John Leguizamo states “no one” has experienced a superior time filming with Steven Seagal.
The “Super Mario Bros.” star, who has been in over 100 films, disclosed that even on the clunkers — “There’s a couple of these!” — that he enjoys his craft.
“I generally have the best time off-camera on all those movies mainly because you’ve bought to make up for it,” the 61-calendar year-previous told The Publish.
1 exception, having said that, is 1996’s “Executive Decision” starring Seagal, who foils a terrorist plot to seize handle of an airplane.
“Yeah, I did not have a good time with Steven Seagal,” Leguizamo explained to The Publish. “No one particular has.”
“Gene LeBell, the most famed stunt person in Hollywood, was in a film with him and [Seagal] stored hitting the stuntmen on purpose,” he recalled.

That is when issues obtained dicey.
“Gene mentioned, ‘Don’t do that to my boys simply because they can not hit you again, it’s not fair,'” he continued. “So he did it once more and Gene set him in a chokehold and reported, ‘You at any time do that I’m likely to choke you to demise.’ He under no circumstances did it once again.”
The Post has reached out to Seagal, 70, for remark.

Leguizamo’s most up-to-date function is a boxing trainer in “The Survivor,” which is based mostly on the true story of Harry Haft, who survived Auschwitz by becoming forced to box other prisoners for the officers’ entertainment. He experienced a transient pugilistic occupation in the US and his last fight was versus foreseeable future champ Rocky Marciano.

“Being a Latin male I understand genocide,” the Colombian-born actor explained about the Holocaust. “Ninety-5 per cent of the Incas, Mayans, Aztecs and the Taínos had been genocided. From 5% seem how numerous of us came again.”
He extra: “We gotta rejoice these survivor tales and we gotta be reminded that persons can do these awful awful things.”
