A member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee, Dahiru Sadi, has stated that Salisu Yusuf was the most effective between the coaches offered to his committee by the soccer Federation for appointment as CHAN Eagles mentor.
NFF Initial Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi, had past 7 days challenged journalists at the MTN/NPFL/La Liga U-15 soccer match to inquire the complex committee why they endorsed Yusuf for the position, regardless of the bribery scandal that led to his one-yr ban from all football linked pursuits.
Talking to The Guardian yesterday, Sadi mentioned he was puzzled by the uproar lifted around the situation, including that the committee knew about Yusuf’s scenario ahead of arriving at picking him as the best selection.
“Coach Salisu, like each and every other Nigerian, has the correct to be a coach of the countrywide workforce. Even the bribery scandal was prepared because he was framed up. Now that he has concluded serving the punishment and has been punished for that, I do not have an understanding of once more why men and women are creating sound everywhere you go.
“In the listing of coaches offered to us by the NFF to decide on from, we finally selected Yusuf because he was the finest for the work between other coaches listed for the CHAN Eagles.
“In the committee are Paul Bassey, Aminu Kurfi, Isaac Danladi, Victor Ikpeba, Mutiu Adepoju and myself. What we did was to also appear at coaches who can operate with the CHAN Eagles head coach as assistants.”
