Bethenny Frankel aired her worries about security in New York Metropolis immediately after a gunman shot 10 commuters on a Brooklyn subway Tuesday morning.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 51, started her “unfortunate truth” rant on Instagram by bringing up how Jerry Seinfeld famously disagreed with an essay titled “NYC is dead forever” in August 2020.
“This subway scenario is terrifying, and New York is not what it utilized to be,” Frankel explained in her video Tuesday night. “New York Metropolis is not harmless.”
Frankel, who has an 11-yr-outdated, Bryn, admitted she cannot support but be the “dorky parent who doesn’t want my daughter walking about the city.”
“It’s frightening, and I have no preference if we’re dealing with Manhattan than to be a helicopter mum or dad, and I decide on to not be in New York City, to be honest. I assume it is terrifying, and we have to converse about it,” she continued.
Frankel, who marketed her Soho loft for $7 million in March, is moving to Connecticut to be closer to her fiancé, Paul Bernon, who life in Boston. She also had a property in the Hamptons.
“People want to have pride of New York and make the town appear again, and it is our New York, and I am a New Yorker, but I’m sorry, safety is much more crucial than satisfaction of New York, so this is a frightening terrifying time,” she ended the video.
The Skinnygirl founder’s enthusiasts were being divided in the comments segment of her article.
