Kandi Burruss claims to have “no opinion” on NeNe Leakes’ explosive “Real Housewives of Atlanta” lawsuit — or at minimum none that she feels like sharing.
“I do not consider just about anything [of it],” Burruss, 45, sniffed to Web page 6 exclusively Tuesday at the opening night of “Strange Loop” on Broadway.
“I don’t have nearly anything to say about it,” she continued. “Never! Absolutely have no opinion.”
Before this month, Leakes, 54, sued the firms at the rear of the fact exhibit, saying that they fostered a racist operate atmosphere.
The suit alleged Leakes, who is black, had to endure yrs of racist remarks from fellow “Housewife” Kim Zolciak, who is white.
NBCUniversal, Bravo, production firms True Amusement and Definitely Initial, executives from the companies and “Housewives” government producer Andy Cohen were being named as defendants.
“NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate habits is tolerated — if not, inspired,” the suit claimed.
Leakes starred on “RHOA” from Seasons 1 to 7 and 10 to 12. Burruss, for her portion, has been a frequent forged member because Season 2.
The previous co-stars are not on good terms these times, as Burruss claimed in March that Leakes had identified as her a racial slur.
“I do not know what her issue is with me. I’ve viewed her say all kinds of things,” the Xscape singer stated on a TMZ podcast at the time.
“This ideal listed here pissed me the f–k off … when she stated somewhere calling me a ‘c–n’ or a thing,” she claimed. “That proper there, which is when I was like, ‘OK, you know what …’”
Burruss was able to brush off the drama for a night when she checked out “Strange Loop” along with Ronan Farrow, Queen Latifah, Tommy Dorfman, Jordan Roth and Bryan Cranston.
The “Kandi & The Gang” star, who co-developed the Broadway engage in “Thoughts of a Coloured Gentleman,” was thrilled to see the musical, which describes alone as “the large, black and queer-ass Wonderful American Musical for all.”
“This is super remarkable to see yet another excellent display with representation, because representation issues!” she stated. “To see appreciate represented in this way, that hasn’t been approved often, and now we’re in this article on Broadway and we’re likely to see them on this wonderful stage.”
