Mark Canha’s selective hitting method has brought another dimension to the Mets lineup this time.
The 33-calendar year-outdated Canha owns a .429 on-base percentage, a mark that helps make him the antithesis of the all-or-very little slugging outfielder. Did you expand up as a selective hitter, or was it a little something you realized as a specialist?
Mark Canha: I made a mindful conclusion [with Oakland] in 2018 suitable around the All-Star crack to be much more selective.
