Ford recalls over 650K trucks over faulty windshield wipers


Ford is recalling far more than 650,000 pickup vehicles and huge SUVs in the US simply because the windshield wipers can crack and are unsuccessful.

The recall covers specific F-150 pickups, and Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs from the 2020 and 2021 model several years. Also included are F-250, 350, 450 and 550 vehicles from 2020 by way of 2022.

Ford’s F-Series pickups are the best-marketing vehicles in the US.

The firm claims in paperwork posted Thursday by US basic safety regulators that teeth on the wipers are not the proper height. That can lead to the wiper arms to grow to be stripped. Files say malfunctioning wiper arms can lower visibility and improve the threat of a crash.

Sellers will exchange both equally entrance windshield wiper arms. House owners will be notified by letter starting off Might 23.
