Pat Maroon and Wayne Simmonds were being in a smack speak-off, and Leah Hextall was proper in the center of it.
As ESPN was broadcasting Lightning vs. Maple Leafs, Hextall was perched amongst the two benches as the two sides started out chirping again and forth. Hextall, staying the professional broadcaster she is, spelled out what was occurring to the audience in serious time.

Her uncle, Bryan Hextall Jr., played 10 decades in the league in the 1960s and 1970s. Her cousin, Ron Hextall, performed goalie for 13 many years for the Flyers, Nordiques and Islanders.
She remarked that Leafs-Lightning “would be a fantastic initially spherical [playoff series] if we get that, boys.”
